HELIX

HELIX is an iOS application designed to provide auditory and cognitive training through a series of listening and memory tasks in common everyday scenarios, such as a supermarket, GP surgery and train station. The purpose of HELIX is to gather data on whether our listening and memory skills can be altered through short, regular training sessions. HELIX has been co-produced by stakeholders with hearing and cognitive impairments, as well as communication partners, researchers and clinicians. Due to COVID-19, the application now needs to be evaluated remotely, using a combination of online hearing, listening and memory tests.
